The Ho West District Assembly held its Third Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Second Session of the Fourth Assembly at the District Assembly Hall.
The meeting, which took place on Monday, 29th December 2025, brought together Hon. Assembly Members, the District Chief Executive, the Member of Parliament, Heads of Departments and Units, Security Agencies, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on governance, development, and service delivery issues affecting the district.
The session commenced with a welcome address by the Presiding Member, Hon. Adamu Kasim Osman, who reflected on the Assembly’s work over the year and expressed appreciation to members and staff for their dedication. He acknowledged the challenges encountered but highlighted notable achievements, urging members to enter the new year with unity and renewed commitment to development.
The house discussed and approved the Executive Committee (EXECO) Report presented by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Francis Profer Dusey. The Assembly also passed a resolution on the purchase of motorbikes for Hon. Assembly Members.
The Public Relations and Complaints Committee (PRCC) submitted a report on an investigation it was mandated to conduct, presenting its findings and recommendations for the house’s consideration.
The Member of Parliament for Ho West, Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, provided updates on ongoing and upcoming development projects to the house. He reaffirmed his commitment to continued collaboration with the Assembly to advance the district’s progress.
Officials from the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Ghana National Ambulance Service were also invited to address service delivery concerns raised by members and to provide necessary clarifications.
