Profile of District Chief Executive

Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, born 23rd September,1965 at Kpedze Awlime is a Ghanaian politician who has been the District Chief Executive for Ho West District Assembly since April 2025.
Prior to his appointment as the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon, Profer Francis Dusey worked at National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) where he rose through the ranks to become the Deputy Regional Director (Western Region) until his retirement in 2024. He is also a Part-Time Lecturer at E.P. University College, Ho (2016 – Present).

Hon. Profer Francis Dusey is driven by a deep commitment to public service, grounded in hard work, integrity, and the pursuit of social justice. He completed secondary school education at Kpedze Secondary School for his GCE ‘O’ Level (1980/81–1984/85), then to Mawuli Secondary School in Ho for his GCE ‘A’ Level (1986–1987). He proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon receiving a Certificate in Adult Education (1998–2000) and Diploma in Adult Education (2000–2002). He also studied at University of Cape Coast, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Behaviour and Conflict Management – Second Class Honours (Upper Division) (2011–2013) and Master of Arts in Democracy, Governance, Law, and Development (2014–2015).
