The Ho West District has demonstrated its rising prominence as an investment hub in the Volta Region, when the district took center stage at the 2025 Volta Trade and Investment Fair, held under the theme: “Volta Region: Building Global Partnerships for a Thriving 24-Hour Economy.”
During the fair, the District Chief Executive , Hon. Francis Profer Dusey, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the profile of Ho West District, emphasizing its vast agricultural potential, rich tourism attractions, vibrant cultural heritage, and growing industrial opportunities. The district used the platform to showcase investment prospects, attract partnerships and investors, and position itself as one of the Volta Region’s emerging economic frontiers for development.
The DCE also highlighted the district’s peaceful environment, which provides a safe and conducive setting for investment, and assured potential investors of the Assembly’s commitment to supporting businesses and fostering strategic collaboration to unlock Ho West’s full economic potential.
Exhibitors at the Ho West District stand displayed a variety of high-quality agricultural products including coffee, rice, cassava, plantain, nutmeg, black pepper, alligator pepper, xylopia, palm oil among others. These items, cultivated across different communities in Ho West, drew significant attention from visitors, traders, and potential investors who were impressed by their authenticity and market potential.
