The Ho West District Assembly has held its Second Ordinary Meeting of the Second Session of the Fourth Assembly on Friday, 14th November 2025, to approve the 2026 Annual Action Plan and the 2026 Annual Budget Estimates, as well as to deliberate on other key issues.
The Presiding Member, Hon. Adamu Kasim Osman, commenced the meeting with a welcome address, after which the agenda was presented to the House and duly adopted.
During the sitting, the 2026 Budget Estimates and the 2026 Annual Action Plan were laid before the House for consideration. Members deliberated on the proposed allocations and activities for the ensuing year. After a thorough review, the House approved both documents, paving the way for their implementation.
The District Chief Executive, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, also presented the Executive Committee (EXECO) Report to the House. Following extensive discussions, the House unanimously approved the EXECO Report.
The DCE further provided updates on the Big Push Agenda and the Feed Ghana initiative. He announced that the District Farmers’ Day Celebration would be held on 28th November 2025 at Awudome Nkwanta, following the National Celebration scheduled for Ho. He emphasized the importance of recognizing farmers for their vital contributions to food security and local development.
The DCE additionally informed the House about plans to commemorate World Toilet Day at Awudome Avenui as part of ongoing efforts by the Assembly to encourage households to construct household toilets and promote sanitation awareness across communities.
In his closing remarks, the Presiding Member, Hon. Adamu Kasim Osman, expressed appreciation to members for their constructive contributions and urged them to continue supporting the Assembly’s development agenda.
