HO WEST PHYSICAL PLANNING DEPARTMENT EDUCATES CHIEF AND ELDERS OF TSITO ON SPATIAL PLANNING

The Ho West District Physical Planning Department on 28th September, 2025 has engaged the Chief of Tsito, Fiator Mordeku III and elders of Tsito in an educational session on spatial planning as part of its mandate to promote orderly development in the district.

The meeting, held at the Tsito Palace, focused on
key topics such as the issuance of building permits, adherence to planning schemes, land use management, and the dangers of uncontrolled development. The officer further explained how effective spatial planning prevents disputes, protects public spaces, ensures accessibility, and enhances economic opportunities within communities.

The Chief and elders of Tsito expressed appreciation for the education, noting that it would help guide them in making informed decisions regarding land allocation and community development. They pledged their support to work closely with the Assembly to ensure that development in Tsito conforms to approved planning standards.

The Physical Planning Department assured the community of continuous collaboration and regular sensitization exercises to strengthen local knowledge on spatial planning and also work with the Development Planning Sub Committee of Tsito Area Council to promote orderly development across the Ho West District.
