On Friday 18th July, 2025, The Chiefs and elders of the Abutia Traditional Council, led by Togbe Okai Debra III paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive of Ho West, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, at the District Assembly.
The purpose of the visit was to officially welcome the DCE into office and to present some pressing development concerns within the Abutia Traditional Area.
Among the key issues raised were school infrastructure, poor road networks, improvement of Kisiflui market, enhancement of health facilities, access to potable water, and the protection of the Kalakpa Resource Reserve.
In response, Hon. Dusey expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit and thanked the traditional leaders for their continued support and guidance. He assured them that his office is open for dialogue, and inclusive development efforts.
