PARK MANAGER OF KALAKPA RESOURCE RESERVE PAYS COURTESY CALL ON MANAGEMENT OF HO WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY

The Park Manager of the Kalakpa Resource Reserve, Mr. John Parker Atinga, together with three other staff members of the Reserve, paid a courtesy call on the Management of the Ho West District Assembly on Friday, 23rd May 2025.

Stating the purpose of the visit, Mr. Atinga explained that it was to formally introduce himself to Management as the new Park Manager of Kalakpa, as well as to present other staff who had recently been posted to the district. He added that the engagement would also give him the opportunity to familiarize himself with key stakeholders and to discuss critical issues affecting the Reserve, with the aim of enhancing collaboration and strengthening conservation activities in the district.

During the meeting petinent issues concerning the Kalakpa Reserve were discussed.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor, warmly welcomed Mr. Atinga and his team to the district. He expressed optimism that the new Park Manager’s experience and leadership would contribute significantly to the development and protection of the Kalakpa Resource Reserve. He further emphasized the importance of continued partnership and open communication between the Reserve and its stakeholders to ensure the sustainable management of the protected area.

Also present at the meeting were the District Finance Officer, the District Budget Analyst, and Assistant Development Planning Officer
