TSYOME AFEDO TRADITIONAL COUNCIL PAYS COURTESY CALL ON HO WEST DCE

On Tuesday, 20th April 2025, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ho West, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, received Togbe Agorku III, the Paramount Chief and President of the Tsyome Afedo Traditional Council, along with his elders, at his office.

The visit was to officially welcome the DCE and to strengthen relations between the Traditional Authority and the District Assembly.

During the meeting, Hon. Martin Champion Joe Dei, the Assembly Member for the Anfoeta-Tsyome Electoral Area, who led the delegation on behalf of the Paramount Chief, congratulated the DCE on his appointment. He also highlighted several development challenges affecting the Tsyome Afedo area. These included the completion and commissioning of the Tsyome CHPS compound, poor network coverage, completion of the Anfoeta-Tsyome-Ziavi–Ho link road, the granting of a separate electoral area status for Tsyome Afedo, construction of a teachers’ bungalow, and the renovation of the basic school block.

In his response, the DCE expressed gratitude for the visit and assured the delegation of his unwavering commitment to collaborate with the community and other relevant agencies and departments to address the concerns raised.
