DCE PAYS WORKING VISIT TO KISIFLUI, DEDEDO, AND KPEDZE MARKETS

The District Chief Executive for Ho West, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, together with the District Coordinating Director and other staff of the Assembly, paid working visits to the Kisiflui, Dededo, and Kpedze markets. The exercise took place from Monday, 12th May to Thursday, 15th May 2025.

The purpose of the visit was to interact with market queens and traders to understand their challenges and to obtain firsthand information on the conditions and operations of the markets.

During the visits, several issues were identified, including poor sanitation, the need for renovation works, and low revenue mobilization, among others. The Assembly is committed to addressing these issues to improve operations at the markets.

As part of efforts to improve the district’s revenue base and promote development, the DCE emphasized that the Assembly will take measures to strengthen revenue collection systems in the markets and ensure transparency and accountability to build public trust.

The visits form part of the DCE’s ongoing community engagement efforts aimed at improving service delivery and fostering inclusive development across the district.
