On Tuesday, 13th May 2025, a delegation from the Ghana Federation of Disability (GFD) Organizations in the Ho West District, paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Profer Francis Dusey.
The delegation led by the District President Mr. Francis Foli congratulated the DCE on his appointment and took the opportunity to brief him on their activities and challenges affecting persons with disabilities in the district. The issues included accessibility, social support and inclusion in local development initiatives.
The DCE expressed his appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to addressing the concerns raised. He emphasized that the Assembly remains focused on promoting inclusivity and ensuring that disability-related priorities are fully integrated into the district’s broader development agenda.
Also present at the meeting were the District Coordinating Director, officers from the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, and Assistant Directors.
