The Ho West District Assembly, on Tuesday, 15th April 2025, held a staff durbar at the District Assembly Hall to formally introduce the new District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, to the staff of the Assembly.
The meeting commenced with a general introduction of staff from the various departments and units, allowing the DCE to familiarize himself with the personnel of the Assembly.
Welcoming the Hon. District Chief Executive on behalf of management and staff, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor, assured the DCE of the Assembly’s full cooperation and support. He emphasized the commitment and readiness of staff to work collaboratively with the DCE to ensure successful execution of his mandate.
Mr. Kporngor further encouraged all staff to uphold professionalism, discipline, and a strong sense of duty, stressing that punctuality and regular attendance at work are key to enhancing productivity and the delivery of quality services.
In his address, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warm reception. He gave a brief background of himself and highlighted the importance of teamwork, dedication, and productivity in driving forward the development of the District.
Hon. Dusey shared that his vision for the district is anchored on three key development pillars: Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Tourism. He explained that these areas hold immense potential for economic transformation, job creation, and sustainable development in the district.
The DCE called on all staff to renew their commitment and work in unity to support him achieve the needed results. He assured staff of his open-door policy, collaboration, and inclusive participation, aimed at building a stronger and more progressive Ho West District.
