HO WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HOLDS FIRST STAFF DURBAR FOR 2025

The Ho West District Assembly has held its first staff durbar for the year 2025 at the Assembly Hall on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

In his opening address, the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Wisdom Kporngor welcomed all staff to the meeting and commended their efforts and commitment throughout 2024. He emphasized the importance of the durbar as a platform to review the Assembly’s performance in 2024 and strategize for 2025.

The DCD acknowledged the staff’s contributions to the Assembly’s successes in the previous year and urged them to sustain and improve their performance in the months ahead. He highlighted the need for discipline, punctuality, and dedication to duty, noting that these qualities directly impact the Assembly’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The durbar featured an open forum where staff members had the opportunity to share their concerns, provide feedback, and suggest ways to enhance work processes. Issues discussed included staff attendance, welfare, provision of necessary resources, health and safety among others.

In response, the District Coordinating Director assured the staff that their concerns would be addressed promptly to improve the working environment and foster productivity.

The District Human Resource Manager, Mr. Bismark Von Golloh, also addressed the durbar, stressing the importance of timely completion of performance appraisals, which are essential for promotions. He urged staff to uphold professionalism in their duties and adhere strictly to local government protocols.

The District Coordinating Director expressed gratitude to all staff members for their dedication and teamwork. He encouraged them to work collaboratively to ensure that 2025 becomes a productive and successful year for the Assembly.
