The Public Relations and Complaints Committee (PRCC) of the Ho West District Assembly held a meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2024, to deliberate on complaints submitted to the committee and address other pressing matters.
The Presiding Member, Hon. Adamu Kasim Osman, who is the chairman of the committee, indicated that the PRCC is a statutory committee that plays a critical role in creating an inclusive, transparent, and accountable governance structure that addresses the concerns of the public while strengthening institutional trust and cooperation.
During the meeting, the functions and roles of the committee were outlined and presented to members to guide their operations and ensure clarity on their responsibilities.
The committee’s membership comprises the Presiding Member, who serves as the chairman, five (5) Honorable Assembly Members, and representatives from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), the Information Services Department, and Civil Society Organizations.
