HO WEST DCE HANDS OVER 400 DUAL DESKS TO DISTRICT EDUCATION DIRECTORATE

On 3rd October 2024, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ho West, Hon. Ernest Victor Apau, officially handed over 400 dual desks to the District Education Directorate as part of efforts to improve the quality of education and create conducive learning environments in schools.

Hon. Ernest Victor Apau, in a brief address highlighted that since 2017, the Assembly has distributed a total of 6,400 desks to various schools, helping to address challenges related to inadequate furniture. He reaffirmed the government’s continuous commitment to supporting education and improving learning conditions across the district. The DCE also urged the Education Directorate to ensure that the beneficiary schools take proper care of the desks to prolong their lifespan.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Paulina Slyn Eworde Gobe, expressed her appreciation for the support provided by the government. She assured the DCE of her office’s commitment to maintaining the desks, stating that measures would be put in place to ensure that the desks are well taken care of in all beneficiary schools.
