The Ho West District Class Implementation Team (DCIT) has successfully organized four (4) training ssessions for beneficiaries enrolled in the Complementary Livelihood and Asset Support Scheme (CLASS) Sub-project under the Productive Inclusion component of the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project (GPSNP 2).
The training, held from July 19th to 24th 2024 at Biakpa Town Hall, aimed to empower beneficiaries of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) and Labour Intensive Public Works (LIPW) programs to enhance their economic activities by providing support towards establishing sustainable income-generating activities.
The training sessions, which covered Modules 1 and 2, equipped beneficiaries with essential life skills, entrepreneurship knowledge, and income-generating activity skills. Prior to the trainings, Beneficiaries selected their preferred income-generating activities which include Rabbit rearing, Snail rearing, Cassava/Gari processing, Oil palm processing, and Mushroom production.
The LEAP and LIPW Beneficiaries where selected from various communities including Vane, Dzogbefeme, Amedzofe, Biakpa, and Dzokpe respectively.
